Air Cooled Oil Cooler AL 608®

These are Bar and Fin Oil coolers commonly known as D Cup Coolers. Typically these have bars with internal fins or tabulators & external fins. The bars act as heat sinks for the heat from the oil or fluid flowing through the heat exchanger. External fins are attached to plates or bars. This increases the surface area for better cooling effectiveness. The heat is transferred from the oil to the bars. The heat in turn is transferred from the bars to the external fins. From the external fins the heat is dissipated by the air flow generated by the fan.

  • Oil flow handling up to – 1 to 10 LPM.
  • Cooling capacity up to –1330 Kcal/h (1.55 kW).
  • These hydraulic oil cooler radiator / heat exchangers are best suited for Drain Line cooling of Variable Displacement pumps.
  • Application: These small hydraulic oil coolers are designed to be installed in drain line of variable displacement pumps. Typical applications include CNC & VMC machines, CNC & VMC Clamping fixtures & other hydraulic power packs with variable displacement pumps. These can be used in applications where there is a steady oil flow of up to 10 LPM (Max pressure 6 bar) with no or little pulsation.
  • AL–608™: 100% equivalent to AMC 217.
